How to become a paid caregiver

Paso 1

Service Hours Authorized

A family’s Regional Center will authorize the family to receive a certain number of care hours and will send the referral to our team.

Paso 2

Paperwork and Training

We then send the application to the care provider to complete. Once returned, we perform a background check, and get the care provider CPR and First Aid certified at no cost to the care provider.

Paso 3

Logging Hours

Once completed, the care provider is ready to provide care and log the hours in our easy-to-use app. Payment will later be provided via direct deposit or physical check. It’s that easy!

What are the requirements to become a caregiver?

  • Be at least 18 years old
  • Provide two valid forms of ID
  • Pass a background check
    Complete CPR/First Aid certification*

*CPR and First Aid courses provided through 24 Hour Home Care are available at no cost

No, we provide all the training that you need to be an effective care provider.

Pay depends on your location and the services provided, but we have extremely competitive pay rates.
