FAQs

What is Respite Care?

Respite Care provides temporary, non-medical support for individuals with disabilities so primary caregivers can take a break. Care is provided in the home and tailored to each individual’s needs, helping ensure safety, comfort, and continuity while caregivers are away.

Families select someone they already know and trust to be the care provider. That individual is onboarded by our team, including completing an application, and paid background check, CPR and First Aid training. We also handle payroll and compliance to make the process simple.

Respite Care can include supervision, companionship, assistance with personal care and routines, meal preparation, light housekeeping, and support with communication.

Respite Care does not include medical care, medication administration, or behavioral intervention services.
