Our Leadership Team
Steve Barber
Steve leads the Disability Services team at 24 Hour Home Care, proudly serving thousands of Californians with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities and their families. His service as a U.S. Navy F/A-18 pilot instilled a lasting belief in the power of mission-driven teams and the privilege of contributing to something larger than oneself. Earlier, Steve served as VP of Business Development and Strategy at MidAmerica, helping public sector employers provide health and retirement benefit programs that support teachers, firefighters, and municipal workers. Steve holds an MBA from the Stanford Graduate School of Business, an MS from the University of Maryland, and a BS from the United States Naval Academy.
Simon Close
Simon Close is the CEO of 24 Hour Home Care’s Community Supports division. He’s passionate about making a meaningful impact in the communities we serve, while delivering robust financial results—strong revenue and market share growth. His career spans leadership roles in pharmaceutical and life science companies, managing large teams in excess of 150 people, and earning awards for excellence, exceptional growth and influential leadership.
Simon was recently promoted from President to CEO of Community Supports, where he continues to drive growth and expand the division’s impact. Established in 2023, Community Supports helps Medi-Cal recipients access essential in-home care, with a mission to improve health outcomes for millions of Californians—particularly those with complex needs.
Chelsea Pyrzenski
Chelsea brings exceptional people leadership experience from global, high-impact organizations. She most recently served as Global Chief People Officer at WalkMe, where she helped guide the company through its acquisition by SAP and supported the business through a period of significant transformation and growth. Previously, Chelsea was Global CHRO at HireRight, where she played a critical role in preparing the organization for IPO readiness and scaling its global talent strategy.
Her career also includes senior leadership roles at VIZIO, the NFL, DIRECTV, and AT&T, where she partnered closely with executive teams to drive digital transformation, build inclusive cultures, and align talent strategies with business outcomes. Chelsea is known for her people first leadership style, strategic mindset, and ability to build high-performing teams that deliver lasting impact.
Dylan Chodos
Dylan Chodos is the Chief Operating Officer of Disability Services at 24 Hour Home Care, overseeing operations that support children, adults, and families with disabilities across California. A people-first leader, Dylan focuses on delivering high-quality care while building teams that center the needs of those served.
Originally from South Bay of Los Angeles, Dylan began his career as a 911 EMT and later worked as a NICU nurse, providing care to medically complex infants and their families. He completed an Executive Fellowship at Stanford Medicine Children’s Health, gaining experience in healthcare operations and strategy.
Most recently, Dylan was an Engagement Manager at McKinsey & Company, advising top healthcare organizations on operations and growth. He holds an MBA from the University of Colorado Boulder and bachelor’s degrees in Neuroscience and Nursing.
